Scholarship Form

Eligibility:

  1. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States.
  2. Applicant must be a full-time student enrolled at a college or university in North Dakota in an accredited undergraduate Engineering or Engineering Technology program leading to a career in a transportation-related field.
  3. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to be considered.
  4. Engineering student applicants must have completed at least 4 semesters of coursework. Engineering Technology student applicants must have completed at least 2 semesters of coursework.
  5. Applicant is eligible to receive the award one time only.

Evaluation Procedure:

Each eligible application will be evaluated by the Section Board, and selection will be made based on application content and professionalism; applicant activities, work experience, career goals, and academic achievements.

Scholarship Award Amounts:

Two Scholarship Awards, one in the amount of $2,000.00 & one in the amount of $1,000.00 are available for the selected applicants. The amount will be paid as a lump sum award payable to the student recipient and the institution attended by the student (joint check will be issued).

I understand that if offered an award I must enroll, or be enrolled, and maintain enrollment in an Engineering or Engineering Technology curriculum as a full-time student in order to receive the award. If I do not enroll as a full-time student or if change status to part-time or less, I will return the Scholarship Award within 90 days of the end of the semester. I give permission to have information about this award shared with ASHE and the public.
